COAST TO COAST SURF SCHOOL & WILDER OUTDOOR EDUCATION

Full week camp

Divide your day between learning to surf & exploring the picturesque natural environment of Belhaven beach & woodland. 

Using Belhaven Surf Centre as a base, your child will spend half of the day being coached by experienced and certified surf instructors.

Instructors will teach the art of surf riding, using top of the range equipment and a friendly experienced instructor. The varied coastline provides a perfect playground for having fun, while building skills and learning about safety in the sea.

The other half of the day will be led by an experienced teacher, forest school leader & marine biologist. This fascinating session will allow your kids to discover how the beach can support health & wellbeing as a space to play, create, nourish and relax. Activities will include, fire skills, outdoor cooking, energetic beach games, foraging, arts & crafts and learning about ecology and wildlife.

Information about camp:

Please make sure your little ones come to camp with water, lunch and plenty of healthy snacks for the day. Our school is a nut free zone - PLEASE NO NUTS!

This activity will take place off campus. The bus will leave Edinburgh Academy Junior School at 9am sharp and will return at 5pm. Please be on time!

A staff member from AccessEA will accompany your children off campus and will be present all day during external trips. 

All camps start at 9am and finish at 5pm, however, the team are on hand from 8am till 6pm every day. This allows you the flexibility to drop off between 8am - 9am and to pick up between 5pm - 6pm. Activities during this time will depend on the interests of your child. 

All wetsuits, board accessories and safety equipment will be provided.
