Gymnasium

Built in 1922, the Gymnasium is also known as the War Memorial, as it carries the names of fallen Academicals on its solid outer walls. Though austere on the outside, an elevated position brings light into the building through its many windows. Reached by a flight of stone steps and through a heavy studded wooden door, this is an impressive and flexible space that can be dressed and tailored to any sporting or social event.
