Whether you are an accomplished player or simply looking to get into the game, the best way to grow your game is to book a lesson with one of our dedicated coaches.

Golf is truly a game for all ages and we believe you are never too young to start. Sign your child up for our individual lessons and give them the confidence to play on any course with anybody. Our dedicated team have over 17 years’ experience working with children so you can be sure they are in safe hands. Our golf coach will communicate in terms the children will understand meaning this very technical game can be made simple and most important fun!

No two swings are the same and there is no one quick fix to a golf swing. Book a lesson with our coaching team; get individual feedback specific to your body movement, and swing speed. Our aim is to work with the positive parts of your swing and tweak it, giving you the best results possible. There are many different ways to hit a golf shot, you can be sure we will not try to fit you into somebody else’s mould in these individual lessons. Whether you are a non-golfer, wishing you could hit the ball or a golfer trying to lower your handicap, this facility is perfect for all levels.

Groups

The principles of golf are the same for everybody. You will find many of your fellow golfers struggle with the same problems as you. Whether it is a high slice or a snap hook, we can give you the simple tools and know how to stop these happening regularly on the course. Book into our group lessons and benefit from our general coaching points that will cover all the major don’ts in golf. Pick up tips on course management as well as chipping and putting advice all of which are guaranteed to save you shots on the golf course.

Our Sports Hub set in the middle of Edinburgh’s New Town is tucked between the Botanic Gardens and Inverleith Park and is almost as green. We’re only ten minutes from Edinburgh Castle (you can see it from our grounds) yet are a private, secluded space.

The Golf Centre is part of our Arboretum Road Sports Hub, 10 Arboretum Road, Edinburgh EH3 5PL. 

Tucked in behind the main sports centre, we are a short walk from the main reception where you will check in and meet our team.

How long does it take to play a round?
For 1 person approximately 45 minutes, 2 people approximately 90 minutes, 3 people approximately 120 minutes and 4 people approximately 3 hours.

Can I wear golf shoes?
Yes, although please make sure they are clean for indoor use.

Can I use my own clubs?
Yes!

Do you use real balls?
Yes. New Pro V1’s will be provided as part of the hire charge.

Can I use my putter to finish a hole?
Yes, the simulator will let you putt from anywhere on or around the green. Get inside 10ft for an auto gimmie.

How many course do you have?
There are currently 37 courses to choose from

How many people can I bring along?
Max 4 per bay.

Do you do lessons?
Yes, we offer lessons to all levels of golfer. Please see our ‘Learn’ page for more details.

Do you hire clubs?
Yes, you can hire clubs for an extra charge.

Is your centre indoors?
Yes, the centre is fully indoors.

Do you have a car park?
Yes, we have free parking in front of our sports centre available to all customers.

Can I play at the weekend?
Yes, the centre will be open at weekends, please see the website for opening hours.

Can you play a course and practise in the same session?
Yes, our friendly staff will show you how to navigate the online system meaning you can chop and change the activity you play.

Can I extend my session if I run out of time?
Yes, if available you will be able to top up your time at reception.

Where are the toilets?
The toilets are located at reception in our sports centre.

Where do I check in for my session?
Please report to the main sports centre reception for all golf bookings.

Do I need to pre book or can I show up on the day?
When possible, all sessions should be booked online and pre-paid. If available, it is possible to book and pay at reception.
