Finance Officer

Edinburgh Academy is a unique venue available to hire within Edinburgh’s New Town area. AccessEA – The Edinburgh Academy Trading Company Ltd is currently recruiting for a Finance Officer, responsible for ensuring accurately and timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices using Sage.

The successful individual will be involved in the preparation of reports for month end, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, assisting with daily banking activities as well as contributing to the Credit Control function.

Hours: 20 hours per week, 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday, though there is flexibility in how the hours can be spread.

Job Types: Permanent

Salary: £25000 to £28000 pro rata

Duties include, but are not limited to

  • Assisting with basic food preparation and delivery

  • Serving customers in a polite and friendly manner

  • Cash handling, till work & cashing up

  • General cleaning in the kitchen and catering unit areas

  • Weekend work is required
